Fiber Femmes are witty, sassy, smart and savvy; we've already been hearing great things from you and we appreciate your delightful comments and wonderful support.

I have read both issues of Fiber Femmes when they were posted, and have enjoyed them both!” - Barbara G.

I just read the September/Oct issue and it was awesome. All kinds of good information and interesting stories, etc. I have angora rabbits so that piece was of interest too. Loved it! – Kathy

I signed up for your newsletter.  I really enjoyed reading about the fiber festivals.  It's great to have something like your newsletter to tide me over between issues of Spin Off.” Roseann

I just found "Fiber Femmes" and will share it with my other groups on Yahoo.  I am 67, almost 68, retired and taught myself to knit 2 years ago.  One year ago I decided that I would learn how to knit socks and felted bags.  My goal for 2007 is to first learn how to use a hand spindle (I have already bought 3 and some roving) and then look a buying a spinning wheel.  My philosophy is that a mind is a terrible thing to waste.  This is a great magazine.  Mari in Minnesota

Editor's note: Here is a true Fiber femme to emulate!

I got my prize and I really appreciated it.  The Rolodex card case will come in handy especially when I go to fiber fests and meet vendors.  Thanks again. Sallie

Editor's note: Sally was the 500th subscriber to our newsletter.  We'll soon be awarding a prize to Number 1000!

I was looking forward to the first issue of your, and Ms. Bennett's, magazine and then let it slip by as August was such a busy month for me. I just read the second issue and loved it! I am new to the fiber arts, as well as to the area I'm living in, and have yet to discover a fiber community here in Johnstown/Summerhill, Pa. It can be frustrating learning to spin from old library books. Your magazine is really inspirational for me. It's wonderful being able to see your lovely spinning and beautiful dyeing and read about people with the same interests! Thank you. Michelle

Congratulations on creating such a beautiful and inspiring place to visit:
your "Fiber Femmes" newsletter is an evolving treasure.  It's so apparent
that this is a labor of love by very busy women!  The article about "first
spinning wheels" was so interesting and the photos were beautiful: articles
like this remind us that there are many folks out there who share the
intention to nurture the world through their creative efforts.  There is a
special kinship among artists whose work connects us with nature.  Those of
us whose work is labor-intensive, or slow and gentle, imbued with striving
at an authentic connection with nature and spirit -- we need to support each
others' devotion in this effort to express our individual visions.  Many who
are trying to figure out how they can "make a living" from this heartfelt
effort (or perhaps simply figure out how to afford the fibers they dream
about using!) need guidance and encouragement and practical advice.  The
world needs our kind of magic.
I wish you, Leslie and Sandra, abundant good luck (and good health) with
this effort: hope it brings you joy & success, too!
